Rest Bear 9x12

Are you worn out? Is life just too much for you to go on one more day? News, life and world events, family, relationships, or work strangling your hope and joy? The giving in to rest is a state where all strivings cease. We rest to refresh, restore, and renew. The Lord reserved one day a week in the beginning and rested from His work. Our busyness, anxiousness, or worry keeps our focus on ourselves, not on God.
The Lord calls us to rest IN Him, to focus on His goodness and faithfulness. He knows how weak and weary we become, after all, He made us. He formed the first man, Adam, from the dust. Take time to rest in Him, casting all your cares on the One who is faithful.
