Every Tribe and Tongue 24x48

The journey of this painting started about 9 months ago. I was led to paint the Heart of God. Talk about an undertaking, what is that?, how do I in my feeble artistic talent do anything justice. Then it came to me, it doesn’t have to be perfect, just tell the story. So here it is.

So what does the Heart of God look like? It is a representation of all the peoples, nations, tribes, and tongues. We are created in the image of God. What we do has an effect on the heart of God. No matter what craziness is occurring across the world, we are in his hands. God is sovereign over it all. God is no respecter of persons, there is no favoritism, he is just in all his judgements. (Acts 10:25-37) There is know no longer Jew or Greek, Male or Female, Slave or Free. (Romans 2:11-16) The church is to be as one, as Jesus and God are one. May we remember Heaven is going to be full of people that look nothing like you. What a glorious day that will be, when we finally see Jesus!
